In November 2010, Seattle band Publish The Quest recorded 'Sodade' with Cape Verdean vocalist Laise Sanches. The song, made famous by the barefoot diva Cesária Évora, has a special meaning for all Cape Verdeans living on the islands and those in the diaspora.
